Extremely rare 1962 multi-colored label 45. Artist listed on labels as "Tony Sheridan And The Beat Brothers". This stock copy 45 (commercial issue) is not to be confused with the much more common pink label promo.
Today it is estimated that only around 25 copies of the commercial issue of "My Bonnie" on Decca still exist. While two label variations of this rarity do exist, this New York pressing is by far the rarest. The label features "Tony Sheridan" in larger type than the "The Beat Brothers" and the catalog number is located in the color bars area at the right. It is estimated that no more than 6 or 7 copies of this variant exist today. The other variation was pressed in Pinkneyville, Illinois and that label features the complete artist name lettering all in the same size and has the catalog number located at the bottom left in the black area.
This is one of the lower grade copies that exist of this rarer version. Vinyl is scuffed and scratched, and plays with background noise, but no skips. However, the labels are very nice with no writing, tears, etc., but with some minor wear at the high points. A beautiful example would sell for $25K to $30K today!
