1966 mono original "First State" "Butcher" cover LP. This one never had the second (trunk) slick pasted over it. Absolutely gorgeous UNOPENED Scranton issue (factory #3 on back cover). According to the included 2006 Perry Cox Letter Of Authenticity, "This is the finest condition example of this factory sealed album I have seen in existence". In fact, this is superior to most Scranton issues as the back is printed darker and better than the usual ones which are much lighter and inferior. In addition, this copy has "QU LITHO IN USA T 2553" small print visible at the top right edge of the slick. Most copies have this print trimmed off (the slick itself unfortunately covers most of the "File Under : The Beatles T2553" border print at the top right). A number of Scranton First State covers were discovered a few years ago, but most were not sealed. This sealed copy has no visible flaws whatsoever! A fantastic example of an extremely rare record.
