1964 red label original promo only 45 with Beatles interview on 'A' side. "Karen" and "Karen Crain" written on 'A' label. This copy includes the mega-rare 7-3/4" x 7-11/16" brown envelope which contained the 45, as given away at Wallichs Music City in Canoga Park, CA from June 5 through June 13, 1964. Very few genuine examples of this mailer/sleeve are known to exist, probably less than ten. Many are counterfeits which can be identified by their bright red print, different dimensions, different paper stock and lack of glue on the back flap. Flap on this one measures 2" wide and has glue and paper residue from being torn open. This authentic issue had some pencil writing on the front, most of which has been removed. "Karen" can still very faintly be detected above print. Creasing at flap and two small edge tears.
