B-5439. 1985 picture sleeve only (no record) for unreleased U.S. 45. In 1984, Capitol/EMI prepared a Beatles LP compilation of previously unreleased tracks called "Sessions". Due to contractual problems, this LP was never issued. The first single from the album was to be a cover of "Leave My Kitten Alone", a 50s rocker which was covered by Little Willie John, Johnny Preston and others. Although no vinyl 45s were ever pressed (only acetates), a run of the picture sleeves was printed. After the project was cancelled, most of the sleeves were destroyed, but some survived the shredder. This is a near mint condition picture sleeve (no record) and is 100% guaranteed authentic as it was purchased directly from an ex-Capitol Records executive.
