White Album

BEATLES
White Album

1968 original 2 LP set with embossed, numbered gatefold cover, poster and set of 4 photos and white paper spacer. Capitol logo on side 2 and 4 labels. This is an extremely low numbered cover (0000035). Over the years, only a few examples have surfaced of numbers less than 100 and most of those were either 3-digit examples (e.g. "064") or "A0000001", of which multiple "Number Ones" were issued. This cover was fabricated by Bert Co. in Los Angeles and the discs are matching west coast counterparts with later corrected labels. The front pocket of the cover has a 1/2" seam split, the back pocket has a 2" seam split and there is a 1/2" split in the center of the gatefold. These are all repairable and listed here for completeness. There are a few light spots on the front and back cover, but their is minimal wear and the cover overall looks nice and bright. This low number issue (35 !) is a world class rarity and is in much better condition than any of the US low numbered White Albums we've ever had.
